I just made what I hope is the last editing pass through a memo on an incredibly complex subject. I was thrilled to find another sentence which benefited from changing some of the nouns back into verbs. Switching the major section headings to Ariel font did make them pop.
And I ended up with a surprise project at home last night which means I didn't get the mistakes fixed. So now it will be Sunday before I have another opportunity.

Amazing! That was really quick! Thanks for doing this project! I will wait to download until posted. I'm glad you found some positive examples already. I am sure it will be helpful to me and technical writers across world.

Thank you for your help.
I ended up copying the cover design from the SEC. Very simple and didn't think I could improve on it without making it more complex.

Yes, I saw that it was the same as on the document. I like it! Very fitting.

Do you think I should give it a light blue background?
It seems to get lost with a white background.

Ooh, that's pretty! I usually give my solid white ones a border so they're easier to see, but I like your blue shading. It gives it more visual interest. (I'm no help -- I think everything looks good.) Is there a way to have the white part over the main title instead of in the center?

I can't decide... this one highlights the title, but the first one was nicely symmetrical. I think either way works well, so you'd be safe going with your gut (if you're leaning one way or the other). Maybe Anne has an opinion if she's still watching?

I think I prefer the second one but there isn't much difference. I'm glad you decided to change from the "all white" idea , I think it doesn't seem to work well on the online displays for me I've found. Kathryn often uses a very faded frame on hers I've noticed
