9:35 the script calls for the line "Now I lay me down to sleep" to be spoken by the narrator which I did and is included in this master file. However, the reader, Adele, who voices Fred Dove, also spoke the line in her submitted file. Would you prefer to use her voice, instead?
I guess our BC made that call already when she colour-coded, so let's leave it at that
The noise must be mic or system generated, I think, not ambient. To my ear, her speech is so endearing that the noise is not a distraction. What do you think?
this sounds like typical overprocessing. Probably too much noise reduction applied, or using too aggressive numbers. But you're right, it doesn't distract and it's still clearly understandable.

The chapter can be marked PL ok. I'll also update the MW with the voice credits, while Daria is absent.

thank you, another great chapter in the box.

Didn't think about over-processing. Now I know what that sounds like and can identify it in the future. Thank you!

Hi Jenn!

I found another Ariadne to be re-recorded as Annabel.
End of chapter 15. Line is "Annabel made me!"
It's in response to everyone finding out that she had pierced her ears.

I'm finishing up the editing of this chapter now.

Thanks!!

Chapter 15 question:

Toward the beginning of the chapter, the phrase is '"Studying French, I see; who is your teacher?" she asked, fli___ing over the leaves of a "Paul and Virginia," that lay on the table.'

the script narration reads, flitting
the other text narration reads, flirting

I have recordings of both. Which do you prefer?

Thanks,
Carolyn

I prefer flitting. Flirting, in my opinion, is an odd verb to use in this sentence.

two for the price of one today I see  thank you, excellent work again. I can mark 14 straight PL ok.

One small recommendation for chapter 16 however:

> at 2:41: "and now and then nonplus their friends" - you pronounce this the French way, which I don't think works in context. I rather suspect they mean the regular English verb here, pronounced "nonpluss", meaning she startled them so they didn't know what to say to that. If you want to hear it, here is a sample: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/nonplus#Pronunciation

the rest was perfect

thanks
