thanks for letting me know, Tomas. Happy if you do the best you can for the approaching deadline, but yes, if you need more time I can extend on the 6th :)

Oh and for your Section 76, please read Alan's comments here, viewtopic.php?p=1774595#p1774595 and note that I will probably change it around to 77 now. So careful with the filename and intro/outro.

I was thinking that as this section speaks at the end about "the speech that follows" it might have been better to place it before section 76, which is the speech. But I suppose it would be too difficult to rearrange at this stage, although as Thomas has not done 76 yet you could make that one 77 and this one 76
ah yes, I see what you mean...it probably doesn't matter much, since the editor also put the picture after the section she refers to. But yes, one could also change it, but then you would have to change the section number in intro and outro as well and in your filename. If you want to do that, I'll change the sections around.
Quite happy to change the intro and outtro and filename as I have to edit the file anyway. Probably do it later today or tomorrow 😺

Hello Sonia, above is my edited file.
thank you April, I see the one word "American" has been added at the right spot, but you forgot to make the cut in the beginning:

> at 0:30-0:35: (p. 503): repeat of title and author can be cut here. You say it correctly with the date added after this. I still hear the title and author twice. Just leave the one where you mention the date as well. You can snip off 0:30-0:35.

Thanks

Sonia
I am so sorry, this managed to go un-noticed by me. Here is the appropriate file with that edit in place.

Here is section 39: (13:01)
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory_volume12_39_tappan_128kb.mp3

and section 51 (24:33) -> There is an error in the title of this one
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory_volume12_51_tappan_128kb.mp3

I have recorded 19 as well but I made a stupid pronunciation mistake that annoys me so much I'd want to fix it before uploading. Thanks for your patience.
Cheers, Ava.

did you maybe reupload to old file ? Because I still hear the title and author twice in there :hmm: Could you maybe check your final file in your folder ? or maybe you named it differently by mistake.

Sorry for the trouble :?

super, thank you Availle (and yes, I just found and corrected the error...oops - fast typing I guess  )

The Salem trial always has fascinated me ever since I saw Miller's Crucible in Edinburgh (a memorable performance :9: ) This chapter was explaining the escalation of the hysteria quite well. It's scary how fast such a witch-hunt can flare up again. Makes me afraid in current times. :?

Both sections are straight PL ok.

Which means there are only 10 sections left which are not PL ok yet...and that has so far been my green light to start the next book. You were all awfully fast this time

I will start prepping now, and may launch later in the day, unless it's getting too late to finish, then I'll launch tomorrow morning (European time).

Stay tuned !

well...this went pretty fast (a good preparation is half the work done).

The new project is now officially launched:

Oh, no, it was not the uploader, it was my program how I found out, sorry for the missunderstanding.

as per request, I'm extending Availle's and Tomas' deadlines to one more month (6 Oct). I hope that gives you enough time to finish without stress :) (of course I'm not unhappy if you bring them on earlier  )

since I haven't heard anything back from Mayah, I am releasing Section 20 again for another interested reader. Back to Readers wanted.
