Problem reported by a newbie: Chapter 8 of The Tale of Cuffy Bear has a terrible echo.

Chapter 8 has a crazy constant echo: http://www.archive.org/download/tale_of_cuffy_bear_1304_librivox/taleofcuffybear_08_bailey.mp3

How did you do that, Phil?

Thanks for getting it reported for me!
My son has almost finished the book. He just skipped over chapter 8.
He is enjoying it very much. Thank you to all who read to him!

I do not hear any echo. I've downloaded the file from thelink and from IA and both sound OK to me. What am I missing/ ?

Apparently you can't use Beef Stew as a password. It's not Stroganoff.

Wow I forgot all about this. Hmm, I just listened and the echo is gone. Again, how did you do that, Phil? :D

Magic I guess. I actually did nothing so perhaps the echo was in the listening device?

I tested it on my laptop and heard the echo too. I suspect Archive was having issues. It's the only logical explanation.

That's very funny, because I only heard the echo when I listened without headphones :hmm: <thinking>
