Hello from West Wales

Greetings!

I'm originally from the west coast of the US, now living in Wales. I heard about this project on the Daily source Code, and am so excited by it! I have always wanted to record an audio book.

I've been podcasting for about three months, have all the equipment, and am an experienced reader, so I'm jumping into the deep end with a solo project (Edith Wharton's The Age of Innocence) However, I'm also happy to contribute chapters to current projects, whatever's needed.

Can't wait to get started!

hi pointy!

we highly reccomend that you contribute a chapter to a "collective" project before jumping into solo, not just to get the hang of it -- reading from text can be challenging -- but also to help move the project along. take a look at Readers Wanted to see if there,s a chapter you'd like to do:

Welcome to the group! I just discovered this place a couple of days ago, but everyone's so friendly that I feel right at home already. It's great to have you aboard on such a wonderful collaborative project.

Yes. Single chapter recording. I'm on it. Thinking Jane Austen, although I can't think that my American accent is going to do Jane any justice, and I haven't read Northanger Abbey in years. Partial to P&P, myself.

I've dusted off my copy of NA, and will give it a quick reread and then pick a chapter.
