Hi there, I'm Pietro Battiston, from Perugia, but living in Pisa (Italy), where I study Mathematics.

Nice project... and I really can't resist nice projects (open content projects are a drug for me, I often collaborate in wikipedia, cpdl and other nice things that keep me far from study)...

I'd like to read in Italian, and in particular I'd like to read as solo Alessandro Manzoni's "I promessi sposi"... but since it's quite big, I know I should first send something shorter... like Manzoni's introduction, which I already recordered (and which, due to the 1600 style of the beginning, is by far the most difficult part of the book :-) )

Just give me the time to find HOW to send it, and I will send it...

Pietro

P.S: for entropy-related tastes, I hate forums (and love wikis)... anyway I'll try to resist and take a look here sometimes...

P.S: I have decent skills in php programming, MAYBE I could help with catalogue, but if so PLEASE contact me by email... I would never find the right topic in this mess

P.S: if there are still important site pages that need to be translated to italian, I can do it... but don't ask me to read the 12 pages of the translation topic ...

or how about some Primes?

Eclogae aren't Italian! They're latin! And I bet they are read with the reuchlinian pronounciation, not the academic one (I would read "cesar" as "sesar", not "kesar")!

About reading pi, or phi, or prime numbers... no thanks, there's the risk I would put too much expression in my readings

Greetings Toobaz,

Hey we like expressive readings! And... different prounounciations-that kind of falls under accents. All are welcome!

Hope you hop right in!
