By the way, it was interesting to learn that the Boxcar children and their uncle actually have last names... :?

Sorry, I also recorded 11-12, but something went wrong with the audio and I have to redo them.

Wow, thank you so much!! All of them are PL OK but chapter 17.
My only note is that when you say "All you children must go to school and then to college. Then you may do whatever you choose for a living," you sort of slur the words "must" and "children" and so I was wondering if you could rerecord that. (0:41)
:hmm: Hmmm. I've listened to this another half dozen times, it is sounds perfectly clear to me.
Nonetheless, at your request, I've recorded that line again. It is the best I can do.

Chapter 1, 3 & 4 are all PL OK!

Chapter 2 has a few PL NOTES:
  • Around 0:10-0:14 you say: "won't it be better to stay in than a little town, nobody will notice us" when the script says: "won't it be better to stay in than a little town?"
  • You skipped the line: "Well, you see, there are so many people in a big town, nobody will notice us—" this would go in at about 0:17.

The Boxcar Children! Oh, this certainly unlocks some old memories! :D

Could I take up the mantle of the "Young Man" from chapter 12? He's number 13 in the MW, and honestly seems like the perfect way to kick-start my LibriVox recording! (Since the work load is easily managable and I'd love to lend my voice to this gem! )

Can't wait to listen to this when all is said and done!!!
