This project is complete. Audio files may be found on our Librivox catalog page at https://librivox.org/a-christmas-carol-the-misers-warning-by-charles-zachary-barnett/This theatrical version of Dickens' A Christmas Carol was performed at the Surrey Theatre in February 1844 just weeks after the publication of the novella by Dickens in December of the previous year. (There were 7 other adaptations also being shown on stage then, with only 1 version - not this one - being sanctioned by Dickens.)

I thought we should do this while we still have some Christmas Spirit left, so it can be done for next year's festivities. You will note that it doesn't exactly track the Dickens' version. But then, none of the other old or new versions you have ever seen or heard track the original either - not even The Muppets version.
Kitty will be our DPL and the First Spirit to start putting Scrooge onto the right path for his future.
Gender neutral.
