Thanks!
PL is okay.
Sad story. The picture of the freeway that collapsed is the 5, 14 interchange, this is part of my daily commute. It is now a memorial, known as the Clarence Wayne Dean memorial interchange. He was an LAPD motorcycle officer, on the morning of January 17th, several of the interchange bridged collapsed. He was on his way to work, it was before dawn, he could not stop in time and he drove his motorcycle off one of the collapsed bridges.
I have been through too many earthquakes, they are not fun.

Speaking of earthquakes, our metacoordinator, Jo, mentioned to me that there is another pamphlet from the U. S. Geological Survey that might interest someone to read: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/46894. It is about volcanoes--might be a fitting last read for volume 36, if anyone is interested. We will be stopping vol 36 when we have 18 contributions and opening up volume 37 soon thereafter,

Sorry for the delay, I've been under the weather. PL is okay.

Hi BT, I liked your choice of "Daisy" to round out this "winter edition" of the nonfiction collection. Outside my Midwest windows this morning--snow, temperature minus seven, and wind chills at minus twenty to thirty degrees below, and then, ah, LibriVox brings. . . a hint of spring. The quote from Chaucer in the reading was particularly nice:BellonaTimes wrote:https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/snf036_daisy_encyclopediabritannica_bt_128kb.mp3

Hi Soupy, Happy New Year! and thanks for checking . . . I personally PL'd BT's "Daisy" but I couldn't mark it "PL OK" on the screen because Jo was working on alphabetizing the list of contributions. She knew everything was PL OK when she closed the volume--we were trying to get things done on the weekend when Jo had time. Do all of your contributions play ok?soupy wrote:It looks like you still have one piece ready for pl
I can't get from the link provided to the completed section. This is what I get.
We weren't able to find that project. You must include either the Project Id or the Project Slug (i.e., "tom_sawyer_by_mark_twain" , without any other link info)

Soupy, I see what you mean. The link that Jo put in the thread works:
https://librivox.org/short-nonfiction-collection-vol-036-by-various/
But the link at the top of the page doesn't: http://librivox.org/short-nonfiction-collection-vol-036/
It looks to me as if the "by various" is missing. I'll have Jo take a look at it and she can undoubtedly fix it. If you use the working link, you should be able to check your sections.
I appreciate your attention to detail!
Best wishes,
Sue
