Hello everyone,

if I understand correctly, this is the place to pre-claim the cover for a solo project I am starting. It's Unser Wald by Curt Grottewitz. I realized there is a cover to be made and would like to do that.

Thanks!

Cheers

Hi Max! Once you've started your project and your MC has set you up with a Magic Window and a Project number, please post here your project number and we'll be able to make the preclaim. You'll find instructions on how to create a Cover in the first post, please ask if something is unclear :)

Sorry, I just checked your posts and saw that your project is already set up, and your project number is 13025. Pre-claim made!

Cover for: https://librivox.org/summer-on-the-lakes-in-1843-by-margaret-fuller/

Let me know if there's issues. I wasn't sure on the photo credit, as it's from the actual book which doesn't list an illustrator or photographer.

Caught and linked. Thank you :D
re naming the artist. I often just say illustration from book, that is sufficient for anyone wanting to check it is PD. If it is a painting then the year can be important.
The only thing I would like to have - which isn't essential - is to know what it is an illustration of when it is scenery and they say something like "north shore of Lake Superior" but just my idle curiosity :D

Below the picture are these words: “Arched Rock from water.” The chapter is about ‘Mackinaw’, and speaks about what today is called Mackinac Island. I believe that section of lake belongs to Lake Huron.

Thanks :)

Just make sure the file has the same name so the existing link will work.
