Just a reminder:
Enlisted Gaurd has been recorded and uploaded.
That part still shows "Assigned" but not "Completed."
Is it OK? Does it require something further? :?

Evenin' folks,

Apologies that it took me a couple of days to reply -- I've been away in York (lovely old city in north England) for work. Fantastic to come back to further progress on this recording!

Padraig: Utterly fantastic recordings -- thank you! Gosh, Major Connel is scary -- I get worried for your blood pressure everytime I hear your readings :P Really looking forward to hearing more, as and when you have time!

Jody: Thanks for pointing that out -- it was nothing more sinister than me forgetting to tick the box :-) Will do so now -- always good to show that we've got another excellent reading in the bag!

I've also now worked with mattsqu to record his readings of Roger Manning, so they're now all complete -- thanks Matt! I just need to edit this down to the audio that we need, and then I'll upload this too, on his behalf.

All good stuff!
Stuart.

I volunteer to DPL when the project is at that point, if a DPL is wanted...

Thanks Ann -- we may not need a DPL for this project, but I'll certainly let you know if we do.

In other news, I'll today be dropping a note to everyone whose recordings are still pending. Hopefully Christmas will be a good time to get much of the remaining recording done and out the way! I have a hectic January at work, but after that should be able to make a start on the editing, once we've got the key character recordings in the bag.

For anyone who has a break at this time of the year, I hope you have a relaxing holiday -- and Merry Christmas to those of you that celebrate it!

Stuart.

...easy to do with a lot of small parts. :D

Thanks David! I'd just spotted that and fixed it, in fact -- we're making even better progress than I'd thought :-p

Fantastic Dave -- as is usual for your good self :) These are all great -- I'll no doubt be back in touch when editing everything together, to ask for little re-records here and there where it doesn't quite fit with the surrounding audio, but for now that's Tom Corbett comprehensively signed off.

Thank you muchly -- hope you enjoyed reading it!

Happy New Year all !

Hope everyone had a great Christmas, and wishing everyone a fantastic 2010 !

We didn't get a White Christmas, but we're getting a White New Year ! We've rarely had snow this last decade but we had enough today to have a snowball fight which was lots of fun !

And here's a New Year present, Major Connel's part for Chapter 7 : http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/lz/dangerindeepspace_connel_07.mp3 (3:05).

All the best,

Fantastic -- thank you very much, Padraig! All coming along rather nicely :-)

I can imagine that the snowy hills of the Irish countryside must have been looking rather good recently -- glad you had a good Christmas.

Happy New Year everyone!
