Hey Jeff!

Absolutely not a problem! I totally missed your initial post about sending in the edited files and just got to see it about 2 minutes ago. lol Should have waited but I usually just check the magic window and download the files to PL from there. Image

Will spotcheck these- I'm sure they're good to go!

Take care,
Kehinde

Hi Rainer:http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ry/Chapter%2017.mp3

I hope it is OK.
Would you like me to do ch.26?

I'd like to do chapter 25 if it hasn't already been taken.

Hello rissielittle,

I'm thankful for your offer to volunteer to record a chapter. However, section 25 is already taken and recorded (or did you mean section 52?).
If you take a look at the first post, you will see what we call the "magic window". There you can see which chapters are still available. I hope you will choose another chapter!

There might be wrong with my computer or something. When I look at the magic window it only goes up to 34 and next to 25 it says available. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

Oh, I'm sorry, it was completely my fault: I was looking at the database entry of "Brothers Karamazov" (I'm trying to do too many things at the same time).
Of course, chapter 25 is available and now assigned to you! Thanks for volunteering! :D
(But section 52 of "Brothers Karamazov" is indeed available...)

Greetings,
Rainer

Rainer,
here is ch 26:http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ry/Chapter%2026.mp3
I hope it gets there and it is OK.
I have not had a mail notification in quite a while , it looks like there was not much activity on this site?('')

Also I guess you are not putting up the next book, seems lots of unfinished projects?

Hello Éva,
thank you so much for your recording! :D
There was some activity here (although not much). Perhaps something went wrong with the email notifications.
And be assured, there will always be chapters to claim until the end of "War and Peace", and I will open up a new book if necessary. I don't want to risk any opportunity to get a recording from you!
Unfortunately I had to orphan three sections of this book, therefore there are still some chapters to grab before I will open volume 12. Do you want one of them?

Greetings and thanks again,
Rainer :D

Hi Rainer,

I didn't mean to be so late on the two chapters I signed up for. I will probably not be able to get to them until about mid-April. I promise to do them however.
If, you'd rather re-assign them to someone else rather than wait, that would be fine. It's up to you--whatever works best for the project.

Cheers,
Dave.

Hello Dave,
we have an "official" target date at the beginning of May, therefore mid-April is fine. Apart from that - as long as I know that your are going to record your chapters there's no need to hurry. Only if I don't hear from a reader two month I will think about re-assigning sections. And be assured, you won't delay this project. When this volume is fully assigned, I will simply start the next one.

And hello Éva,
I'm glad you want to adopt some of the orphans. The available sections are:
section 04
section 05
section 10

Greetings and thanks,
Rainer :D
