Below is section 6.

Thank you!
Christopher
Two comments to note for future recordings.
For a recording from sections 1 through 9, there still needs to be a two digit section number in the filename. In this case it would be: familyprayers_06_palmer_128kb.
While the volume is acceptable it is near the upper limit of the range. In future please try to get the volume near the LibriVox ideal of 89 dB. No need to fix it here.
Thanks,
M

Here's section 12 with the changes requested:InTheDesert wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 8:12 am This section hasn't been proof-listened yet but here are the technical notes. Could you resolve the technical issues and then re-upload the file before prooflistening?
- We need 0.75 seconds of silence at the start of each Librivox track and 5 seconds at the end (or as close as you can make it). Currently, it's about 0.9 at the start and about 1 at the end.

I hear you are from Dubuque. My family all live fairly close by, in Marion.

Hello again!
Below is Section 13. I was having some issues with my computer. So, the quality may not be as good previous sections.

Didn't notice any quality issues particularly. Found it pleasant to listen to.ChristopherD wrote: ↑May 7th, 2024, 7:58 pm Hello again!

There are two changes to be made here and then it should be PL OK.
4:49 please insert "Give us faithful consciences," before "that shall smite us when we do evil, "
7:08 please add "Amen" and then add "end of section 13" before the 5 seconds of silence
Thanks,
M

Oh. So when you wrote "Done!", you were saying that section 14 was already completed? I guess I thought you were confirming I was assigned the section.
In that case, I can do section 15.

I wasn't actually! Somehow the sections in the MW became rearranged (it can happen via LV's odd system) - your section 14 appears to have become 16. I have fixed it now and it is still assigned to youChristopherD wrote: ↑May 10th, 2024, 11:52 amOh. So when you wrote "Done!", you were saying that section 14 was already completed? Gotcha. I'll start on section 14 right away. And I'd like to do section 16, as well.InTheDesert wrote: ↑May 10th, 2024, 7:58 pmI wasn't actually!
