My old computer died, and someone gave me a Chromebook. Audacity is only compatible with Windows and Apple OS's.
Does anyone know of a good, not too complicated audio editor I can use instead of Audacity?
Audio editor for Chromebook?

Looks like there still isn't an audio editor that will run on a Chromebook and that online web-based editors are the only option. The only ones I've come across that can output audio for LibriVox is AudioMass and TwistedWave (which is a subscription).
I've been meaning to try this one out, but haven't gotten to it yet. Might also be worth a shot:

Thanks for your responses.
I did manage to get Audacity onto my Chromebook, via Linux. However, there's no way around a serious problem, namely that the print is so tiny it really requires a magnifying glass.
Do I understand that I can't download a difference audio editing app to a Chromebook? I infer this from your comments that web-based editors are the only option.
