Speaking of hockey, how do you like the Wild's new coach? I am so glad we got rid of him.

Here's Strong, chapter 4. Hopefully the plosives are better this time, but let me know and I'll keep tweaking the mic placement.
Strong Chapter 4 is PL OK. The plosives are reduced in quantity as well as how harsh they sound. I think you've found a good setup - keep doing them like this chapter.
At ~6:53 in your recording the words get out are loud enough they are hitting the limit. It works out in this case; it sounds like you are growling a bit. In most versions of Audacity there is an toggle at view>>Show Clipping (on/off). If it is left on, any place where your level hits clipping will be marked with a vivid red line. I leave that on in my copy of Audacity to warn me when there is trouble brewing.

Ah, I failed to notice that one. Thanks for the tip about "Show Clipping"; I'll make sure that's turned on. Would you like me to re-record that line?

No need to re-record. It just makes you sound a bit more grouchy at that point - right when Strong is trying to intimidate Tom, Roger and Astro. I'll be adjusting the levels to ensure the edited chapter meets the LibriVox specs (but that's something I'll be doing for all the voices in all the chapters).

I tried to give him a Russian accent because Saminsky is a Russian surname. Please let me know if you would rather me just speak with my usual accent.
It looks like Saminsky also appears in Chapter 10, although there isn't a corresponding entry in the MW. Shall I make a recording of Saminsky's Chapter 10 lines?

Since the academy has interplanetary students it's reasonable to expect multiple Terran accents. Da, Saminsky is Russian. PL OK.
I'll add an entry in the MW for your part in chapter 10, which is just cheering for the winning team. I'll stack your voice with 5 others who appeared at the academy in previous chapters and could be expected to be in the stands at the big playoff.

Now I need to wait for the next chapter to find out how Astro did. Oh wait, I'm Astro. Here goes: Yeeeoooooowwww!
There was only one person at Space Academy capable of making such a noise!
