Thanks, Elijah. You've certainly been pumping them out!

Chapter 20 is PL OK. Just a few corrections for the others.

For Chapter 18:
  • At 0:56, there’s two words missing: “The one forlorn comfort she had was in the good, resolute thump, thump of Gog’s mighty feet…” This sentence doesn’t make sense without the first one, and although the second doesn’t change meaning, since you’re tackling this sentence anyway….
  • At 4:58, you’ve read “retunes” instead of “retinues” (reh-tin-use; followers) in the list of participants in the Fairy Court. You might want to correct that so as not to confuse your listeners.
For Chapter 19:
  • You’ve misread the chapter title at 0:20. It’s meant to be “Magog is cured,” not “Magog is cursed.” That’s a significant change and bound to confuse listeners.
For Chapter 21:
  • At 5:21, I hear “She laughed silly, all the same, as if she knew more than she would say.” But the text reads “She laughed slily, all the same, as if she knew more than she would say.”
Cheers,

Hi, João! Sorry I said "Bem-vinda". I thought joãosenna was all your first name!

I've reserved section 6 for you. To officially assign it, I need to know what name you would like to be known under in the catalog. It can be your screen name, your real name, or a nickname. If you'd like, you can also add the URL to a webpage or blog that you have. Send me a message by Friday with this info and I will get that assigned to you.

Thanks, Elijah. Just one change needed: at 8:26, I hear “…and it won’t be good, my pretty, to have her back, quite strong and well again and all just like it used to be!” but the text reads “…and won’t it be good, my pretty, to have her back, quite strong and well again and all just like it used to be!” As this reversal of words says the opposite of what is intended, I think it needs to be fixed.

I'm going to be away from my computer from Saturday morning until next Saturday, April 6, but I'll have my iPad and cell with me, so should be able to do the spot PL with those. I just can't run any files through Checker.

Cheers,
Winnifred

Well that was quick, Shelly! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I got it off the recording already, so nothing for you to do, but don't forget to put duration when you post the URL. It just saves your BC a step of opening it.

Winnifred, our DPL, is out of town, so it might take a bit for you to hear something.

Thanks :D
