IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Anne, I have a horrible feeling I didn't tick the 'compilation with multiple authors and sources' box. Could you please double check this at some point before cataloguing? It *will* become a habit, I promise.

Poems 1-7 are ready for PL. I'm not sure what stardust was sprinkled over the recording sessions but there was more usable material than I thought there would be, hence its being ready now. However, I emphatically do not expect you to rush to it, especially as you've just PLed another poetry project a few days ago.

A very nice selection, Erin, and your fittingly expressive articulation very much does it justice. Congratulations on completing another excellent introduction to an all too seldom heard voice from Latin America. Sections 1 to 7 are PL OK.

Thank you, Bruce. I'm grateful for the time you've taken away from recording to make these projects available for listeners.

Anne (and Bruce if you wish, but I do not want to presume), I'll be launching José Asunción Silva late Thursday or early Friday your time. It'll be slower; I've recorded nothing as I've made some changes to my setup and need to test on someone who isn't a national poet!

Sounds exciting, Erin, thanks for the invitation. And yes, count me in. I'll watch for the launch.

Thank you both!

I'm glad you're reading some of the mini biographies for these poets. Some of the authors in this series really had remarkable lives.
