Thanks, I have assigned the Stage Directions to you.

You do not need to read the Dramatis Personae or the paragraphs following as these will be in section 0 which I will read myself. Just read the Stage Directions for each act with the appropriate Intro and Outro.

In each act please read the name of each character before the first time they speak (unless there is a stage direction to introduce them). This is because the lack of stage directions in Seneca can otherwise leave the listener confused as to who is speaking.

hello, I like to look up all the names of people and places even if I think I know them

I would have gone with that first one before looking it up, but now I know there is a second option, which would you prefer?

Good question! Not being a Greek speaker or a Classicist I really don't know. My inclination would be for the first option but I will consult others who may know more.

Consensus (Rapunzelina and Laura Gibbs) seems to be that it is Lie-us (rhymes with pious) so let's go with that. However it is often pronounced Lay-us in English speaking countries so it may be difficult to get uniformity.

Alan,

Just a quick update. I've recorded all the lines for Oedipus. I will post each section as I complete editing to make it easier on the PL.

Take care,

Greg
