You have a lovely animated reading voice. Your test will need a small adjustment, however.
Librivox requires files with a bit rate of 128 kbps (constant). Your bit rate is 113 kbps (variable). That's easy to fix in Audacity. Reopen the file and click "Export Audio" (under "File"; only needs to be set once). In the dialogue box, adjust the settings to match the following, and click Export:
Export Audio…
Export format: MP3
Bit Rate Mode: Constant
Quality: 128 kbps
Then re-upload your file and post it response to this post. I'll come back and check it out.
Thanks,
Winnifred
Thanks very much, I appreciate it!

And that one's all good! You're ready to start recording. I'll set you up in the Librivox catalogue under the name AdamP and officially assign you that chapter of The Onslaught from Rigel. If you want to change your catalogue name later, you can ask one of the admins to do that.AdamP wrote: ↑February 18th, 2024, 10:06 am Thanks very much, I appreciate it!
