I'll take the last 2 open sections, although Sudie will take me a while (long section, and the dialect).

Please remind me what to do with notes such as [HW: Ky 3]
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart

Great job. Both sections 24 and 25 are PL OK.

I think it is just awful when the slave owners went beyond "punishment" into downright torture. Sticking pins in someone qualifies as torture to me. What got into those people that they thought it was okay to torture and murder another human being solely on the basis of skin color. Well, it actually shouldn't be done period. Simply brutal and appalling.

Indeed! We must continue to honestly preserve history, and do whatever we can to create a better, more humane present and future. Thanks so much for all you do.
Have a wonderful weekend :)

That would be great!
Thanks, Tricia

Yeah, Sudie is a difficult section.
Ignore the stuff at the top and start with, "Story of Easter Sudie Campbell,"

Oh! I thought 40 was much longer than it really was! (I thought the text for the next 3 or 4 sections was included.)

So, here's 40, faster than I expected!

That was a bit of a challenge to listen to.

Notes for section 40:

1:58 missing "en I haint neber seed him ergin" after "My man he jes wen erway"

Section 46 gets a stellar PL OK.

Thanks,

Oops! I forgot that the reader for Section 47 had requested to be dropped, so I orphaned and adopted it so we can get this project through. It is now in the MW Ready for PL:

Just one reader who picked up a couple of orphans, then we're done.
