Source text (please read only from this text!): https://archive.org/details/vedntasutrastr02bdar/page/n5/mode/2upThe Vedanta Sutras, or Brahma Sutras as they are also known, is a Sanskrit text attributed to the sage Badarayana (also known as Vyasa) written sometime between 500 BCE and 450 CE, with most scholars placing it in the period between 500 BCE and 200 BCE. Together with the Principal Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita, The Vedanta-Sutras form the trilogy of sacred texts considered most important to Vedanta philosophy.
Continuing the journey of philosophical exploration, Volume 2 of "The Vedanta Sutras with the Commentary by Sankaracarya" delves into the final two pādas of adhyāya 2 and extends through adhyāyas 3 and 4. Sri Adi Shankaracharya's commentary enriches the text, complementing the teachings of Badarayana. The closing pādas of adhyāya 2 delve deeper into creation's intricacies and the connection between the material and divine. Adhyāya 3 explores spiritual practices, karma's nuances, and meditation's transformative potential. Adhyāya 4 widens the lens to encompass meditation, knowledge, and the pursuit of liberation.
