Sometimes I wonder if the authors of old knew that one day their works would be turned into audiobooks and inserted twisty phrases to mess with us.

Here's me, trying to not clip on the "Ha ha! Ho ho!" of a character laughing: https://librivox.org/uploads/bloopers/haha_hoho_blooper.mp3 from which bits I found enough to piece together something that worked.

I was recording the final chapter for Anecdotes of Great Musicians

The final paragraphs are as follows:
We might go on and mention the names of lesser [musicians]. The circumstances of some of them would tend to show that even this century does not always repay genius with honor and riches. Still, the contrast between the last half century and the time that preceded it is certainly in our favor. Perhaps the twentieth century will repay all its debts to genius.

But, be that as it may, the greatest success genius achieves is in the conscious fulfilment of its high mission and not in the accumulation of riches. The possession of genius is the rarest fortune, and " Whoever fortune gives a touch, everywhere succeeds."
I failed to keep a straight face at "Perhaps the twentieth century will repay all its debts to genius."

Is it bleating fleaks, bleeding flocks, or bleating flocks? Once I got it wrong, I couldn't seem to get it right without laughing. :D https://librivox.org/uploads/bloopers/bleatingflocks_elsie_blooper.mp3

"His chirography was microscopical."

Thanks. I did get the microscopical out okay... after having a bad time with chirography.

When you only have a couple of paragraphs left in the chapter and you notice a beetle of some sort crawling on the wall. Just push through, you can get rid of it at the end of the chapter.... Right?

I was really struggling to read my chapter today; it was like a tongue-twister.

So many minty antichrists, everywhere you look - an army of evil souls with fresh breath.
