Hi - here is section 11 - length - 11:54.58. As mentioned as a question by another reader I believe on here, there were parts that said "m" for a measurement and parts that said "M" as well. I just said m, not sure if that was the way to go or not. Let me know if you need me to make any changes.

You can read the lower case "m." as "meters", around 6:23 in the recording.
I can't think what the capital M. at 11:36 stands for. I wouldn't say "million" as I don't think that so much brick would be needed. But it's a possibility. Could it be square meter or cubic meter? Or something else masonry related? I looked for the original scans to see how exactly it was printed, but didn't find anything.


Larry, I think there's a paragraph between sections 11 and 12 that looks like it's not included in any section so far It's the one starting "The belief that population in the West Indies is stationary", unless you didn't mean to include that anyway.

Sorry for being so lazy, but here is my take on the elements in question.

1) I quite agree that the "m" should be read as "meters." It is a bit odd that English and metric units are both used in the article, but that is clearly the case

2). The general structure of the table is good as you have read it. The only change I would make is changing "Column Number" to "Size," since that is what is intended from the following sentences.

3). "M" is I believe is intended to be the Roman numeral for thousand. This would make sense to me in terms of the construction of these structures.

And, as Rapunzelina has pointed out, there is a stray paragraph about the population of the West Indies right at the end of this section. I'm not heart broken if it's not included somewhere, but if you wouldn't mind recording and attach it at the end, with a short pause, and before the normal outro for the section, that would be great.
