Thank you, the recording itself is PL OK, but you changed the settings when you exported.
We need a mono recording, at a constant 128kb bitrate.

Sorry - for some reason my Audacity reset to default settings without me realising.
I've hopefully rectified it now:

Hi Lynnet

Can I grab section 3 for now?

I'll help with other chapters in the future, if needed.

Hi! My one minute test has just been approved. May I take section 4, please?
English is not my mothertongue, but I hope I can do it well enough.

Welcome to Librivox!
Not being a native English speaker is not a problem, so long as a native English speaker can understand you 8-)
That said, you might find this text challenging, as there is some pidgin English (not necessarily grammatically correct as the author was not a native speaker either -- it is as if written by a Japanese girl).

Please be sure to read the first post and ask if you have questions.

I'd like to try, if possible.
When you say to check the first post you mean to get the technical requirements, don't you?

That's right (which should have been checked for your test... just don't change anything 8-) ).
It also gives the correct wording for the intro and outro (what you say before and after your reading) and how you should name your file.

I'm sorry for not staying up to date on this project, can I still proof listen to these files or have y'all found someone else?
