May I read the Narrator in the section from Les Misérables? (My favorite novel...)
Back from a low-internet no-Librivox year in Georgia. Glad to be with you again.
Thank you.

Thank you for your clear reading of the narration for "The Masked Marriage"! I appreciate you recording the line you mention twice; that gives me options when I edit.JoannaHoyt wrote: ↑April 21st, 2021, 5:07 pm Here's the Narrator/Pickwick in The Masked Marriage.
Duration 3:20
I have recorded one line twice, starting at 2:13 and starting again at 2:34. This is because I wasn't sure if "Devereux" was getting the English or the French pronunciation so I recorded the sentence both ways (though the French part is iffy).

I apologize for taking a month before prooflistening your part. I only realized in the past few days that PLing these roles was my responsibility, a thing I should have realized before.
Normally, the narrator would need to read all of the "Character read by..." bits in the dramatis personae in case any of the readers forget to include their voice credit, but considering that this story is so short, I think we can simply require all of the readers to include their voice credits. I mention it so you can keep it in mind if you decide to read the narration for other DRs in the future. I think we can safely mark this part as PL OK!
Thank you.

Here is the narrator for the two chapters from Les Misérables. Sorry this took me so long. Duration 24:53

Eliza, thank you for the very clear pronunciation notes. I've done my best with Madame Magloire's name...
Also, at 21:15—Valjean’s remembered exclamation “I am a wretch!” is colored as the narrator’s line not Valjean’s, so I have read it.

Thanks for the listen, and thanks for the note. I have narrated some other short DRs in this collection, before all roles were fully claimed--if I'm tagged or messaged I'll gladly go back and add in dramatis personae segments. I had just been assuming that each character did those.Salvationist wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2021, 6:29 pm [
