Ok... I saw it in the MW and thought it was a re-uploaded file.

Alright, here's chapter 14! (26:51)

Thanks, Sophia!
PL notes for chapter 14:
0:31, 2:24 - I can hear where these sentences were edited together, which is a tad distracting. The best way to fix this is copying and pasting some room noise from elsewhere in the file (the silence at the end, for example) to make for a smooth transition.
4:22 - A thump in the background.
I also notice some points (ex. 12:11, 14:35, 20:22) where there's either background noise or your microphone moving. I won't ask you to re-record these parts, as it's not too problematic, but be aware and try to mitigate the sources of that noise for future recordings.

Certainly - I'll sign you up! However, before you start recording, you'll need to submit a one-minute test (see info here: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test), to make sure your recording set-up follows LV's specifications. Once you get an OK there, section 12 will be waiting for you.
Also, since this is your first recording, we'll need the name you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalog (this can be your real name or a pseudonym). We can also link to a personal website, if you wish. Thanks!

The test is voluntary, but highly recommended. It can save a lot of time if there are issues.AdriPrev wrote: ↑April 9th, 2021, 12:48 pmCertainly - I'll sign you up! I have assigned section 12. You are entered in the catalog with your forum name, but that can be changed (catalog name not forum name).
To avoid confusion, please note that the BC is LynneT. Adri is the DPL, which means her job is just to listen to submitted files and comment on them as needed.
