Once again, I do apologize this is taking me a bit of time. I will make more time to finish these up.
I have yet to edit the others that are missing. Should I just upload those anyway? Let me know

Sorry, just saw this. Oh no! I listened to it before I uploaded it and it was playing, but I'll get that re-uploaded soon, so sorry!Kristingj wrote: ↑March 11th, 2021, 5:19 am PL Narrator chapter 96
96
09:00 - It's not inVAlid, but INvalid, like sick
09:17 - Mispronounce d'armilly, should be more like 'darmiy', like this(though it doesn't have to be that accented): https://no.forvo.com/search/d'armilly/
14:30 - Mispronounce Commissary, should be like this: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/pronunciation/english/commissary
I would also ask that you keep a little more room between the lines where someone else is speaking. Right now you have 1-2 seconds, and 3 is the ideal. You don't have to correct the file, but going forward. Other than that, good reading:)
Chapter 97, however, have no sound.
Thanks!benderca wrote: ↑March 12th, 2021, 3:05 am Max, Chapter 93:

You can chose yourself which way you want to do it, edit as you go, or when you finish. Up to you:)KnightWriter wrote: ↑March 15th, 2021, 3:40 pm https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/montecristo_narrator_85.flac

Are there any more chapters available for the count of monte cristo? I was going to recor today & noticed that my chapters were reassigned. Also I never got any feedback on my audio test.
I wrote a long, detailed message a month ago, giving you explicit instructions on how and where to post your 1-minute test and which steps to take after that, but I see you have not yet submitted your 1-minute test to the correct forum. To refresh your memory, see my message below. (Check out my whole message from Feb. 6th to get tips about how to record your part in a dramatic reading).

Hi Judy,jmhazen2015 wrote: ↑February 2nd, 2021, 9:40 pm Hi Kristin
Sorry it's been awhile. I'm still interesting in reading the count of Monte Cristo. Here is my audio test.

Maybe I can assist you. First of all, I see you have recorded a test, but you don't need to post it here in this forum, but you need to post it over in the Listeners & Editors Wanted forum. I see you haven't done that yet, so that is your first step.
Check out this page here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Newbie_Guide_to_Recording
What you need to do is to go over to the Listeners & Editors Wanted Forum - Click this link here:
viewforum.php?f=21
Then at the top, just under the title, Listeners & Editors Wanted, you can see a tab: New Topic
Click New Topic and write a message introducing yourself and post the link for your 1-minute test there.
Then someone will come along and listen to your recording and give you tips on how to adjust your settings.
When you've passed your one-minute test over there, then come back here and join in!
1-Minute Test Instructions (check numbers 3 and 4):

Have fun,

I believe I posted there in the right place after I got your first message Kristin. Can you reassign me chapters in Count of Monte Cristo? Thanks!
Hi, I found your post, but it seems you haven't actually posted the test yet? Just answer the post with the same link you posted here, and they'll take a listen. It's just so much easier to make sure all the technical parts are in place before you start recording the project. And as I said in my last post, the chapters are still assigned to you.jmhazen2015 wrote: ↑April 1st, 2021, 7:44 pm
