Hello Everybodypeeps!
Just an idea for a little game - might be fun!
I'm sure that everyone - just like myself - has a 'fantasy' character that they would like to portay.
So - who would you like to be?
For my own part, it would be Shere Khan from Kipling's 'The Jungle Book'.
Baddies seem to get much better lines, and I would love to be this particular baddie'!*
As this is just a game, I don't think that you need to limit yourself to 'public domain' characters -
it's not as if we are ever going to 'do' them...
BUT - only one character, please! (My game, my rules! )
*Do you ever notice that the majority of 'Evil Bar Stewards' in Hollywood movies are English?
(Not 'British' - English! ...Odd that!)
Anyway - love to hear just 'who' would be your ultimate read!
Andrew

I have absolutely nothing in this world but time - so I believe I should invest it wisely...
That's hard because there's so many... not even from books! So my 20 would be.. no just kidding. I can't simply pick one! Tough choices

Just added an extra rule.
No teasing!
(I'm sure that we all know who I am talking to. )

As to what baddie I would care to play, if only I could do the accent, well, I'll give you a clue...
"Oh yes, what was it you said to me before? Yippee-Ki-Ay..."
Cheers,
Chris
P.S. Added bonus for any potential voice-coach ... recall that this character gets thrown off a skyscraper.

I'd love to read Schmendrick the Magician from *The Last Unicorn,* though actually *being* him might be a mite too stressful....
Back from a low-internet no-Librivox year in Georgia. Glad to be with you again.

Agreed, on both counts!JoannaHoyt wrote: βMarch 28th, 2021, 8:04 am I'd love to read Schmendrick the Magician from *The Last Unicorn,* though actually *being* him might be a mite too stressful....
Necroposting is the resurrection of a long-dead thread. Myself, I see nothing wrong with it, but some frown upon it. (Why, I don't understand.)
