That old dictum about not ending a sentence with a preposition may be logical, but simply is nonsense up with which we should not put.
This is why we PL . . .
All fixed.

In the mind, or consciousness of the Earth this flower first lay latent as a dream. Perhaps, in her consciousness, it nested as that which in us corresponds to a little thought.--A.Blackwood

Okay, I've got 7 recorded. It may be a few days before I can get it in, and then Section 8 is pretty long so it might be a few more days.
Super Blowout Sale this week, so I'm picking up some overtime tomorrow and then a couple of extra family days are scheduled. All I can say is my pace of life has not slowed at all.
These are a lot of fun to read, though.
I'll blame that on my seventh grade English teacher, I guess.

Just to let you know there will be a further delay on those two sections.
I recorded the first one but not the second.
When my hard drive crashed I lost all my LV files including several things I had just recorded.
I might be able to get these done this week on a borrowed machine, but we'll see.
Next week I'm taking off a few days for a final camping trip with the family.
And, we are into an extremely busy time at work so I'm putting in some overtime (gotta pay for the new laptop)
I'm not sure I've ever diagrammed sentences for fun, but not a bad suggestion.
Sad that it has fallen out of favor. I think it really helped me understand language in general and grammar in particular, and thereby writing and reading. But, it doesn't click with everyone's learning style, I guess. I remember our teacher diagrammed the preamble to the U.S. Constitution on the board once!

Pastor, very sorry to hear about your computer. I don't know how I would react to a crash. I like to think I would handle it calmly, but I'm not sure. I back up my files regularly, but I have no idea what all my necessary passwords are. I let my computer remember them.silverquill wrote: ↑August 18th, 2020, 7:22 am Just to let you know there will be a further delay on those two sections.

Enjoy the camping and don't worry about 1001 questions and answers. We'll be here, God willing, when you return.
Peace to you,
