The MW looks perfect!
Wonderful recording! You are a perfect reader for this story. Only a few notes:
11:48 – crackling sound
13:14 – heard ‘trendals’ instead of ‘tendrils’

Hi! I just posted Chapter 3. This one was pretty difficult because it had quite a bit of "angry" dialect... that's the best way I know to describe it. ha If I need to give it another try, I'll be happy to. Just let me know what you think.
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Well this chapter is PL OK! I thought you did well with the dialect, it was chaotic and that got conveyed! Nice work.

Hi there, I've just uploaded Chapter 4. Could I get your opinion on taking breaths in a selection? Do you usually leave them in or edit them out? I've been editing them out, but it makes the passages sound so choppy. I did about half and half this time. I know you've done a lot more readings than I have, so I just thought I'd ask.

Wonderful recording, PL OK!
Now to the breaths. I never edited mine out. Me (and I've heard others say this) believe that breathing only makes the recording sound more natural. Of course, there are many different breaths, and some are louder than others. I can see if someone were to have a loud/obnoxious sounding breath they may choose to do something, but that still wouldn't matter here at LibriVox. I know when I heard myself breathing loudly I did some exercises that helped me breathe from my diaphragm and quieted them.
I listened carefully and heard what you meant about them being choppy (I wouldn't have noticed without listening for it). If I were to edit any of my breaths, I would take the tedious way of amplifying them slightly down. That could quiet them and ensure they are still there to keep the natural sound. Of course, that is a lot of work.
Hope that helps!

Thank you! That does help a lot. I think that I will leave the breaths in from now on. Reading definitely has a learning curve. It helps to have such kind people who are willing to help!
