Mike, Thank you very much for your prompt reply and the step by step! I gave your selection a little more lively title ( taken from the introductory paragraph), if that's ok by you.lethargilistic wrote: ↑August 3rd, 2019, 12:35 pmHi Sue. PACER is a scam. To be honest, I have been following this case since the district court decision and just used the name I knew to find the .gov link through Google when this appellate opinion dropped. You can get there through the main site as well!Sue Anderson wrote: ↑August 3rd, 2019, 6:51 amMike, This is a very interesting contribution. I listened to it this morning. But before I accept it for the Nonfiction Collection, could you please help me out with your sourcing. I can see that it originates from a U.S. government site: https://www.uscourts.gov/. Generally speaking, material originating from the U.S. Government is in the public domain, but to be sure about this case summary I would like to be able reach the court case myself, by accessing it through the U.S. government site.lethargilistic wrote: ↑August 3rd, 2019, 12:33 am "Silvertop Associates, Inc. v. I am certain that I pronounced "pictorial" with and without the "i." It's the same word to me, but I can make it consistent if you insist.
Could you please tell me the "route" through which you navigated on the web to reach this source. I can see there is a page on the uscourts site called " https://www.pacer.gov/ for accessing electronic files; but I also also see that I would have to sign up for an account to use it. I also see there is a charge for accessing "Pacer" and that there is a disclaimer under the
question "Is All Case Information Available to the Public. " that "some documents may be unavailable to the general public." So, while I think this would be a great addition to our collection, I need your help on this one. Thanks in advance,
