I just saw this. (Where is my head?) I'll make the corrections now.soupy wrote: ↑June 8th, 2019, 6:02 am Thanks Kevin. I've met manny farmer's daughter here in Wisconsin who are very well rounded people.
4:03 No need to read the heading of the page - The Young Woman on the Farm by Martha Foot Crow
4:18 - Professor G W Fiske - you read Friske - can fix or not
the ending should be : "End of [Title], by [Author Name]"
You're using the poetry ending - end of poem (reading) this recording is in the public domain.

Sadly, I have placed Fiske/Friske in the too hard pile, but I think the Professor will be flattered.

Do I understand correctly that a chapter uploaded here could not later be used were the entire book to be recorded, that a new recording of that chapter would have to be made?

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your third contribution to vol 066! We are pleased to have it. I must remind you, however, that you will need to wait for volume 067 for any more recordings you may have in mind, as there is a limit of 3 selections per person per volume (see paragraph two of the instructions at the top of the page).KevinS wrote: ↑June 13th, 2019, 1:48 pm https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/snf066_whenthedead_fraser_ks_128kb.mp3

I do remember and I think carefully about what I submit. I have a longer piece already recorded for next time, which I hope will come soon.Sue Anderson wrote: ↑June 13th, 2019, 3:10 pmHi Kevin, Thank you for your third contribution to vol 066! Hi Craig, Your reading is PL OK!
Off topic, a couple of days ago I was at our public library and was, in my usual fashion, perusing the new books shelf, when I came upon a most interesting book about your neck of the woods: Lost Fox Cities, by Scott Wittman, "a professional historical landscape photographer" and native of Appleton, Wisconsin. (History Press: 2019). Many historical photos of your area.
Thanks Sue
Lost Fox Cities by Scott Wittman is in my Amazon cart
Here is my third for the month.
The Encyclopedia of Greek Mythology (except from Book One) by Pseudo-Apollodorus first or second century AD

It's called The Library but it's also been called The Encyclopedia of Greek Mythology by either Apollodorus or Pseudo-Apollodorus who is regarded as the author. Scholars say it can't have been Apollodorus because he named someone born after he would have died.

Craig, Your reading is PL Ok! I gave it a more lively title in my efforts to engage our listeners in what is a fascinating creation myth! Hope that is ok by you.soupy wrote: ↑June 15th, 2019, 12:07 pm Thanks Sue
