Children's Poety Book Suggestion
My daughter (age 7) and I just finished reading a poem book together, and she is interested in doing another project with me. My searches have not turned up anything that I love, so I thought I’d ask here if anyone has some good ideas. Short poems work well for her, due to her age and reading level.

Even if she just wanted to try one or two poems, there’s a poetry collection in the Short Works forum. Just submit any PD poem. But your own collection is fun too. A Child’s Garden of Verses comes to mind, but of course that’s definitely in the catalog already.
PS - I’ve been meaning to thank you for Seed Babies. The kids liked it and it was just what we were learning about with the little ones for homeschool.

Yes, I was playing with the idea of A Child’s Garden of Verses (version3), but it would be nice to do something new. I think submitting to short works is a great idea.
Thank you for letting me know your kids liked the book I recorded! That made my day. Perhaps of interest, I am nearing the end of another seed information type book (Little Wanderers by Margaret Warner Morley) – I am enjoying reading this one.
