Is it ok?
Hi Fabiola, That would be great! :) Wikisource has the poem here:

Giosuè Carducci was the first Italian to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature, in 1906! :D

Hello! :)

I'd like to read "Se bate miezul nopții..." by Mihai Eminescu

https://ro.wikisource.org/wiki/Autor:Mihai_Eminescu#Din_volumul_Poesii_.281884.29

In English:
miezul nopții = midnight

Can the intro and outro of the recording be in Romanian?

the intro:
the outro: Sfârșitul poeziei "Se bate miezul nopții" de Mihai Eminescu.

Thank you!
Livia

Hi Livia, This poem would be a wonderful addition to the 12th anniversary collection! :) And yes, you most certainly can read the intro and outro in Romanian; this is a multi-lingual collection!

Mihai Eminescu (Romanian pronunciation: [miˈhaj emiˈnesku]; born Mihail Eminovici; 15 January 1850 – 15 June 1889) was a Romantic poet, novelist and journalist, often regarded as the most famous and influential Romanian poet. (Wikipedia)

 SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIBRIVOX BEFORE THE DEADLINE! :birthday:

There's still time to sing along with the 12th anniversary song, today (Sunday), or even tomorrow Monday. The deadline for submissions to the collection is midnight Monday, July 31.

Sing! It's easy. It won't take more than maybe 10 minutes of your day, no preparation needed. It's a song anybody can sing, even if you think you "can't sing." And singing this LibriVox ditty will make you make you smile for the rest of the day, guaranteed!

Do you remember how at first
To LibriVox you found your way?
What was the book that brought you here,
And made you want to stay?
The first you heard?
The first you read?
The first that got stuck in your head?

Chorus:
Happy Birthday, LibriVox!
A dozen years of books galore!
Wishing you, dear LibriVox,
A dozen dozen more! :birthday:
