7 to follow (hopefully later this evening)
Hi Rich,

Here are your notes:

0:28-0:32: 'of which pars magna fui' is said twice.
0:41: 'I wrote' should be 'I wore'.
3:53: I believe that the name is Beauclerk, not Beanclerk. (You say it as 'Beauclerk' later on)
4:09-4:17: Failed take, going from 'Dr. Johnson' to 'exhibiting'.

This really isn't a great scan, is it?

Oh, and in case you're wondering:

pars magna fui: I played a great part
anfractuosity: One of the fissures (sulci) separating the convolutions of the brain, or, by analogy, in the mind.
attitudinize: To assume an affected, unnatural exaggerated attitude or pose.
supernumerary: Extra; beyond the standard or prescribed amount or number.
taximetric cabriolet: A light two-wheeled carriage with a folding top pulled by a single horse with a taximeter, an automatic contrivance fitted to indicate to the passenger at any point the distance traversed (i.e. a taxicab)
apophthegm: A short, witty, instructive saying; an aphorism or maxim.

Thanks I will try and make adjustments today,

understood most of the rarer words (growing up in England with a family that encourages reading helps :) )

the Latin gave me pause though. and yeah the scan could be a bit better :)

But I would be the first to admit I did that recording while tired. (my apologies, wanted to get it done)

Hi Jordan and Carolin,
Here is Section 46. It is 9:08 minutes long. I hope the volume etc is okay, as I had to reset my computer, and all the wonderful settings I'd arranged three months ago were gone!

Hi Ulrike,

Again, very well read, especially the French. But you have ended up with a very high volume (Checker is reporting 96.6 dB, when it should be about 89 dB). Amplify it by -7, and it should be perfect.

Oh, and one other thing. You don't need to change this, but just to let you know, at 5:58, MSS. is short for 'manuscripts'.

May I read Section 8 please?

This would be my first recording. I would like to appear in the catalog as Teresa D. Lee. My personal website is http://euphoric-designs.com.
