I am new to this. I teach an Oral Interpretation class at a community college and thought this would be an excellent venture for my small class of 7 students. We have been looking over some material to read/record, etc. but don't know how or where to start. What is the first thing we need to do? Is there someone to contact and request permission to do this? Someone who can help us along the way? Is there a step by step process? Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough for these answers. Please advise.

Hi Theresa,

If you look through the 'Guide for Listeners & Volunteers (the LibriVox wiki)' - linked at the top of this page, that will give you at least most of what you need to know. If you then have specific questions, please feel free to ask. I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone takes you under their wing to guide you through.

Oh, and Welcome! :D
