This has become an almost weekly diversion, via my PDGazette alter ego on Archive.org. You can put one together yourself with Open Office and Project Gutenberg books. I make them for my e-reader with a basic 5" x 7" reading frame.

Three new ones:

Enjoy! 8-)

B.T., Your format amazes me. Could you explain a little bit more how you do it with Open office? Thanks,

I use an older model of OO. Open up a word-like document, click on Page, select the size closest to the 5 x 7 format, reduce the margins to 0.25", and save. Add your content and make sure to link back to PG -- and LV if you want to promote us with corresponding recordings of content. I've found that Arial Narrow works best, font size 12 for the text, 20 +/- for collection title page. Add public domain artwork if you like; I rarely do unless it's an art or kids' magazine, because it keeps file size small. I have been learning as I go along, now including page numbers because my older Kobo doesn't have word-search. Do a couple of visual checks to make sure everything is in order, then save as a PDF file and post. 8-)
