"A similar carve-out gives Prince Charles unusual power over some homeowners on the Isles of Scilly, a picturesque archipelago off the southwestern coast of England... In one case, a couple built a house on the Isles of Scilly, only to have the duchy force them to sign a lease bequeathing the property to Prince Charles’s estate upon their death, said Lord Berkeley, a Labour peer in the House of Lords.
I don't really see Charles being much good at wrestling giants off cliffs. It seems more of a young man's game.
For reasons I've never really understood, one of the main shopping spots in Melbourne has statues of the giant in it. I suppose some Cornish people were feeling a bit homesick on the other side of the world. There's a Cornish chap who comes into my library pretty regularly and he wassails his apples, but the time of year is backward to Cornwall, because the seasons are reversed here.
