Jo, Thanks for the tips on the ID Tags.

Hugh, I've left our travelers at the wall surrounding Copan . . .

Hi Sue,

Your narrations are so easy to listen to. You never make a mistake.

Hi Hugh, thanks for the PLing & the kind words. Believe me, things still slip through my editing occasionally! Here is 6:

Hi Sue,

Section 8 is okay.

This section reminds me of our trip to Cancun a few years back. We took day trips to Chichen Itza, Xcaret, Tulum. Chichen Itza was probably my favorite. The drawings and descriptions in this section are very similar to the Aztec architecture we visited. Very beautiful.

...off to find my pictures.

Hi Hugh, Cancun . . . ah, sounds nice; it's cold and blustery here today. Here is section 9:

Morning Sue,

Section 9 is okay.

Feeling much better. I think I'm almost completely over this bug.

Hugh, glad to hear you're feeling better, and thanks for the PLing; I read in the paper this a.m. that this year's flu season is just starting! And I am way behind on editing the next section . . . my computer instructor told us we should be defragmenting our computers regularly, so yesterday I started the defragmenting program on the old desk top I've been using for Librivox, and for the next four hours the computer stared back at me with hurt feelings of long neglect! Hi Sue,

Section 10 is okay.

Your instructor is correct, you should defrag your hard drive on a regular basis. I defrag mine every 3 or 4 months, and yes, it can take some time to complete. You may not notice a big improvement in performance, but there usually is one going one behind the scenes.

You talk nice to your computers, don't you?

Hugh, Thanks for the PLing, and here is section 11: http://upload.librivox.org/uploads/jo/incidentsoftravelincentralamericavol1_11_stephens.mp3
40:28.

I'm hoping my computers stay on friendly terms, because after I finished a mini-course on Word 10 at the library, I sprung for a copy. I've never had anything but an old version of "Works" for word processing before, and was really smitten (and amazed) with what Word 10 could do. Sue

Hi Sue,

Section 11 is okay.

We will be going out of town for the weekend for a wedding. Be back Monday.

Yes, Word is a powerful program. I've tried the 2007 and 2010 versions and cannot, for the life of me get past the "ribbon." I have been using MS Office since Version 3.0, which came out in 1992. At the company I worked for at the time, there was not a lot of money to be used on computers and the like. I had to learn Windows and Office without a mouse, so I became very adept using the keyboard shortcuts, still use them to this day, hence, my dislike of the "ribbon."

Something about teaching an old dog, new tricks.

Have a great weekend.
