Hi Pam,
Section 24 is PL OK. I hadn't heard of Boccaccio's characters being turned into laymen to be less offensive, but that is a marvellous piece of textual history. Have you heard of the Sinners' Bible? A printing error omitted a 'not' in one of the commandments. From memory, I think it was adultery.
