Gunther missing lines

https://librivox.org/uploads/redrun/niblung_gunther_missinglines.mp3

I hope the voice matches OK!
I checked my German copy of the libretto and that specifically assigns these lines to Gunther.

Notes for PL:

Omitted voice cues:
  • 02:27 - "[Quietly."
  • 03:09 - "[Mockingly."
  • 04:39 - "[Quietly."
  • 04:53 - "[Mockingly."
  • 05:03 - "[With growing violence."
  • 05:03 - "[Lightly."
  • 05:38 - "[Violently."
  • 12:13 - "[Very friendly."
  • 13:02 - "[Laughs."
  • 15:06 - "[Very tenderly."
  • 15:15 - "[Very softly."
  • 17:25 - "[Very tenderly."
  • 19:09 - "[Makes a laughing sound."
  • 19:54 - "[Roaring."
  • 21:07 - "[In a weaker voice."
  • 22:33 - "[Dying."
  • 26:45 - "[With a mocking laugh."
  • 26:53 - "[Beside himself."
  • 27:03 - "[Shrieking."
  • 27:07 - "[In a fury."
  • 27:46 - "[Laughing maliciously."
  • 30:40 - "[Very friendly."
  • 30:45 - "[Sweetly."
  • 30:55 - "[As if praising him."
  • 31:12 - "[Astonished."
  • 31:15 - "[Continuing tenderly."
  • 31:35 - "[As if he were promising him something nice."
  • 31:38 - "[As if he were ready to lay down his life for him."
  • 31:45 - "[As if in friendly jest."
  • 31:54 - "[Angrily."
  • 32:25 - "[Tittering."
  • 32:31 - "[Violently."
  • 33:12 - "[Jesting merrily, as if describing to him ..."
  • 33:53 - "[Tittering."
  • 33:56 - "[Furiously."
  • 34:27 - "[Gently."
  • 34:33 - "[Jestingly again."
  • 34:56 - "[Tittering."
  • 37:16 - "[Warmly."
  • 37:49 - "[Softly."
  • 39:19 - "[Shouting with joy."
Also PL OK. I was somewhat puzzled by Mime's (correctly spoken) text which clearly invites Seigfried to kill him, whilst acting as if it shouldn't.

Hi Paul
At this point in the story Siegfried, having swallowed some of Fafner's blood, can hear what people are thinking rather than what they are saying. Hence the incongruity of what Mime seems to be saying.

https://librivox.org/uploads/redrun/niblung_10_wagner_128kb.mp3 (33:43), Act 3 of Siegfried, is now ready for PL.

Notes for PL:

Omitted cues:
  • 09:31 - "[Bursts out laughing with gleeful good-humour."
I'm mid PL and am curious why this one is left out. Beeswaxcandle didn't laugh so I'm tempted to ask him to laugh, or you to find a laugh of his elsewhere (which I don't recall but you might) and paste it in, or you to add this line. What do you think?

Otherwise PL OK and magically well done, especially the last where Siegfried and Brunhilde speak together.

Ah! Thanks Alan. I realized that’s why he understood the wood bird but not Mime. Very clear. Sorry for being dense.

Siegfried's lines, in the recording niblung_siegfried_twilight.mp3, have not been proofed. But my thought is that PL of niblung_13_wagner_128kb.mp3 will serve as PL of those lines. If issues are noted for any of those lines, I can map the timestamps back to James' original recording of Siegfried in Twilight to facilitate their correction.

Notes for PL:

Omitted cues:
  • 02:26 - "[The maidens laugh."
  • 03:05 - "[They laugh immoderately."
  • 03:41 - "[Calling loudly."
  • 09:42 - "[More gloomily."
  • 09:45 - "[Laughing."
  • 09:58 - "[With a deep sigh."
  • 12:44 - "[With a strident laugh."
  • 13:54 - "[More and more ecstatic."
  • 18:35 - "[In great fear."
  • 18:57 - "[With growing terror."
  • 22:26 - "[Breaking out in sudden despair."
I should have Twilight of the Gods, Act 2, ready for PL sometime this weekend and I plan to have the play's Act 1 recording ready in the upcoming week. After that I will post overall project status, etc. Cheers.
What a wonderfully dramatic climax! All PL OK including Siegfried so I've marked s10 as PL OK too. OK?

Hi Brian
Do you still want another Vassal voice? No point doing act 3 as you have finished that but I could do the act 2 lines.
