... very nice but it includes - prominently - this text:

Personal Recollections of Johannes Brahms

Just thought I'd mention it ...

I downloaded this about 2:00 p.m. Eastern to my phone.

I just downloaded it again also to my phone. It still has the same cover, though on the homepage I now see a different cover, presumably the new one.

Let me try to download it to my laptop.

I will report back in a few minutes.

Hmm. I just downloaded the cover files, and they're correct.

It's possible your laptop is saying to itself, "Hey, she asked me to download this earlier. I still have that old version stored in my temporary files; rather than downloading again, I'll give her the one I already have."

Try downloading them to a new location, if you can.

Sorry, I probably wasn't clear. When I first downloaded it this afternoon, it was to my cell phone and had the wrong cover. When I downloaded it again about 45 minutes ago, that was also to my cell phone, with the wrong cover still. Then I downloaded it to my laptop, thinking just what you note, namely, that the problem might have to do with the device I was downloading to. However, the download to my laptop had the same old, wrong cover.

In the meantime, I downloaded it to another computer, and again got the wrong cover. So it's obviously is not related to the device.

I am baffled.

I am on the LV homepage.

Using my phone, I scroll down to the book, long press the title, receive the option to download, tap that option.

Alternately, I tap the title which takes me to the books page, including all chapters and various download options. I choose the first and simplest option, called download, long press and then choose download.

On my computer I went to the LV homepage, scrolled to the book, clicked the title, found the first and simplest download option, and titled download, clicked that.

(I actually didn't know there was any other way to download than what I've just described. Except of course downloading individual chapters.)

Maybe ... But quite possibly not ... if you tell me a little more about what you are dealing with on your end, I might be able to help. Only as a user, not with any special technical or internal LV related knowledge.). Anyhow, I will help in any way I can.

That download button downloads a zip file of the MP3s. Last I knew, it does nothing with the cover art.

Very weird.

We'll try rederiving the covers (a fancy way of saying that we'll tell Archive to refresh some stuff), but I don't know if it'll do anything.

Amusing explanation.

Yes I should have clarified I was downloading zips.

Hope it doesn't keep you up!

However, ground for optimism. About 90% of my technical problems are solved by shutting off everything for 10 minutes. 8-)

Let me know when I should try again.

Someone has informed me that the image is embedded in the zip file somehow. My computer's old, which is why I'm probably not seeing it. :hmm:

I did set it to rederive last night. I'm not sure if it actually did anything. You could try it again. If it doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas.

An trying again now. Slow. There it is NO GO. alas

Tell me, are other people also downloading original cover?

I'm no expert, but why not have somebody go back to the step where you only have individual chapter files, add cover art file, and re zip?
