thank you for your precise PLing. And wow, I never had imagined there is a difference between letter and latter in pronunciation, to me they sound the same. I checked on wiktionary and google translate now to hear it spoken. Yes, I see there is a slight difference, but I think in the flow of a sentence I wouldn't hear it out much.

Well, I tried to make the 'ah' sound a bit more prominent and open, I hope it's more comprehensible now. In context I guess one would also understand that "latter" is meant.

I re-recorded both parts of sentences for 128, and simply cut out "just" in 124. I think the sentence sounds not too maimed.
