Falstaff's Wedding (1760 Version), by William Kenrick (1725 - 1779)
Falstaff's Wedding (1760 and 1766) is a play by William Kenrick. It is a sequel to Shakespeare's plays Henry IV, Part 2 and The Merry Wives of Windsor. Most of the characters are carried over from the two Shakespeare plays.

There are two distinct versions of the play. The first, recorded here, was published in 1760, and is a serious play with Falstaff being drawn into a plot to kill Henry V of England. This play was not well received when presented in 1766, and so a completely revised version was prepared and staged later in 1766 that drops the serious parts and expands the comic elements into a farce.
(Summary by ToddHW)
This play was suggested by InTheDesert. This is the first version of the play; later on I will do the second version. Also looks like Kenrick published some other interesting plays as well that may pop up later on my schedule.

Thank you.

For PL of individual reader files here:

I'm not persnickety about pronunciations or accents, considering it a part of the characterizations chosen by the readers. So long as each reader is consistent within their own files, that's okay.

Any lines missing need to be added in.

Errors are okay within a line so long as they don't change the meaning of that line. Such might happen if f's and s's get confused by readers what with the way this script was printed.

File names don't matter much since I have to take everything apart anyway to create the master files that will get cataloged.

Quick PL is great so that fixes get made fast before readers disappear....

Thanks, Todd
