Hello,
this my recording for section 71, Ishmael,
https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/scarlettorch_27_euqwe_128kb.mp3 03:27 (3 minutes and 27 seconds)
I stopped and started at each paragraph as to make it easier for me to start over if I made a mistake so that's why they sound a little different. Sometimes my voice in the recording sounds a little muffled, I do not know how to fix that, I think it is just my microphone not being that good. I'm sorry, if that is something worth not using my recording, I encourage you to pick someone else's recording. It was something that persisted throughout multiple attempts of reading a paragraph.
Also, just due to me having less time I would relinquish my claim on section 74 (or whatever other section I actually claimed).

Use my username, Adrianher, capitalization does not matter.
Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Hi Adrian
Your reading is great there is just one edit needed please.
The volume is 74dB which is too low. We aim for between 86-92 dB but ideally we would like it to be at 89 dB.
In Audacity you will also find the option to amplify under 'effects'.
How to amplify in Audacity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_z607awyLw
If you like you can use the checker tool to verify volume and other settings.
https://cgjennings.ca/projects/checker/

Also adding in a plug in called replay gain will help you to check your volume in Audacity. The link for the video on how to do this is below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9Uz900RNos&feature=emb_logo

If you could carry out this edit and then re upload the file using the following filename.

poemsvol1_071_cawein_128kb.mp3
(you will find the instructions for naming files in the first post of each project)

With regards to errors when reading you don't have to re record the whole section again.
Lets say that your sentences are as follows "The lady went through the doors. On the other side she saw a great surprise"

If you let the recording carry on as you are reading and you make a mistake, Leave a gap make a clicking noise so you can see where the error is and re record the sentence until you are happy with it. You can then edit out the errors later. This means you don't have to keep repeating a whole paragraph till you get it right. I have put an example of this below to show you how to do it. I will remove you from the other section you have claimed but if you want to try this next time you record it should make the process easier. Please let me know if I can be of anymore help.
