I've imperiously decided  to grant myself a few day's extension on sections 2 and 3. I plan to record them and have them up this weekend. I won't make a habit of this because I don't want to have to start rejecting claims from me.

Section 2, runs for 27:00, and can be found at https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/navyeternal_02_bartimeus_128kb.mp3.

Someone greased the uploader skids - I never saw that progress bar move so fast before.

One PL Note: @9:41 repeat "to"

Yeah, sometimes it is really fast and sometimes soooo slow.

I'm not sure as to how and whether to best fix the clause @9:41 :hmm:

The clause at the start of that sentence in the text reads: "To the two oilskin-clad figures ,,," ...

Only I recorded the sentence as if it had read: "The two oilskin-clad figures ,,," .

I caught the omission in editing and had to decide whether to rerecord the sentence or find somewhere else that in my recording where I did say the word "to" so that I could copy/paste. But then I'm pretty lazy so I just copied the nearby word "two". So what you are really hearing is me saying "Two the two oilskin-clad figures" instead of me saying "To the two oilskin-clad figures.

You caught me fair and square - it's a fair cop.

And now that I am exposed as a cheating, lazybones... what to do now? If you really think it sounds that bad, I could go for one of the other options to supply the word "To" at the start of the sentence.

What would you do in my place? (not that I recommend that anyone should be here!).

Maybe this one sounds better
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/navyeternal_02_bartimeus_128kb.mp3 (27:00). I think what made it sound off was that the "two" I used for "to" was too close. I looked around for a "to" to copy but they didn't sound quite right. In the end I used "tu" from the word "tumalt" for the clause "To the two oilskin-clad figures" @9:41. I think it sounds better. Hope you do, too! :)
