immense is a big word! But yes, I am by the sea. We have been finding, in recent years, an increase in sharks in these waters, but they are gone south now and it's time for Christmas bird count. Section 12 coming up before the new year.

Wow That sounds so lovely. My equivalent, in counting that is, would be how many worms I can save from drying out on the pavement after the unseasonably warm rains we've been having here in Massachusetts.

The robins'll get 'em! Apparently there are still robins, warblers, thrushes, and many other song birds still here in Nova Scotia, while at home in Quebec, they are all long gone south.
