I'm guessing the period in the initial might have been the problem, unless you put something non-numeric in the birth year field. *shrug*
Thanks Tricia
I will remember what to do and not do next time

With the little maintenance outage we had today, these errors should no longer appear - especially the ones with new authors. Fingers crossed!

I am willing to do the work to make the authors represented in the next volume of The World's Best Orations searchable but since I only get one try at it in the project generator, I need all the authors to exist in the catalogue before I start. Would a kind admin be willing to add the following people for me? I have checked that the Wikipedia links are correct and that these are the people not already in the catalog.
Female Scripture Characters by William Jay (1769 - 1853) 97% 1 left! "The Penitent Sinner Part 2"
St. Augustine (Vol.6 Psalms 126-150) 94% 3 left!
PL pls: DPL 43 27-28

Greatly appreciated! I should have it launched within 24 hours.

Would someone please add Barbara McLaren ada Baroness Freyberg to the author list?

Here's her wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbara_Freyberg,_Baroness_Freyberg

Born 1887, died 1973. I'm hoping to record "Women of the War" published in 1918.
https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/72085

Thanks,
Tina

OK, I've got a little work to do on it, but it should be in enough for you to select her in the template generator.

I'd like to narrate Walter Damrosch's autobiography, "My Musical Life." I've filled in the New Project Template Generator, but his name seems to be new to Librivox, maybe because he was not primarily an author. So I have not been able to submit.

Walter Damrosch, 1862-1950. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Damrosch.

By the way, I see that Amazon offers an audio version of this book, but the narrator is AI.

Does the generator give you an error when you try submitting the form?

Generally, new authors can simply have their info entered without issue.
