Oh yay, that is awesome! I just finished doing a bunch of African folktales today (including an African version of "Ant and Grasshopper" ha ha)... I will do some more Aesop tomorrow. THANK YOU! :D

You'll see one in there that does not have a "moral"... because it is framed with a human who sees what the dogs do and pronounces the moral using typical moralizing language. Pretty cool

All of the most recent sections have been listened to! They are all good to go, but you might want to check the Latin section 63 "The Fowler and Chaffinch" -- it sounds like you say "proper" instead of "propter," at 3:18, unless that is how it is pronounced, which means I learned something new while listening! :D

Ohhhh, thank you for catching that! Definitely should be propTer. I will fix that when I record tomorrow; today it turns out there is a football game, so that means loud tailgating in the parking lot next to me, ha ha. I think we must have won because the game is surely over, but they are totally partying in the parking lot.

Okay! You can spot-check Section 63 at the 3:18 mark (propter should be fixed... but editing is actually way more error-prone than recording, ha ha, so you can make sure I didn't mess things up by making the fix!)

... and then 2 more sections ready to go; I love the one about the husband and wife who were both married before :-)

And here are two more ready to go -- so there is the spotcheck for 63, plus English 25-26 now and Latin 65-66. The one about the wax is in here, one of my all-time favorites! :-)

And another pair ready! Yay! So, there are FOUR pairs ready for prooflistening:

All four pairs have been listened to. There is one small hiccup in Section 68 at the very end -- in the Morale, at 6:33, you skip the "in se." Other than that, they are all ready to go :D

I probably won't record a new pair tonight, but I did want to fix the missing "in se" so that file is ready to listen to again; I just added the "in se" instead of re-recording the whole "morale" ... you can tell it's an edit if you are specifically listening for that, but I think it sounds okay. You can let me know what you think! And hopefully I can have a pair or two ready to go tomorrow. I'm going to get caught up on Plautus tonight, whoo-hoo! :-)

Whoo: two more pairs, so we are 75% done! You will have listened to 150 fables in Latin when you finish these two pairs. How cool is that???

Also, the missing "in se" has been added for this one at 6:33:
