PL notes for Chapter 17: It starts and ends with "Chapter 8" instead of "Chapter 17". The Volume is low at 82dB. The recording needs to be amplified by about 7dB. Then it might need some Noise Reduction because probably the background white noise will have been amplified, too.
I rerecorded it. I hope it is all good now. :hmm:

Thank you!
Wow, I wish I'd read this chapter (on considering marriage) 50 years ago. Or even 40 or 30 years ago. I didn't expect it to be so full of timeless wisdom!

Hi Victoria,

I just noticed that there are two sections that are way too long. They shouldn't be over 7000 words. I will PM you about this.
And I'll move you back to Readers Wanted.

Thanks,
Amy

Hi Victoria!

I noticed the changes in the Magic Window. There is no need for change in the intro so far, because "Chapter 22" is still "Chapter 22" even though it's in section 23 now.

Sections 21 and 22, could be "Chapter 21, Part 1" and "Chapter 21, Part 2" in the intro to keep it consistent. But you'll need to suggest a way to introduce the "Receipts" as it doesn't have a Chapter number. Maybe we can still use "Chapter 27, Part 1" and Part 2? :?:

For splitting points, for the Receipts, I would suggest Part 1 to end just before "FOR KEEPING THE WARDROBE IN ORDER" and Part 2 to start from there (FOR KEEPING THE WARDROBE IN ORDER).

And for Chapter 21, I would suggest Part 1 to end with "The position for the polka, redowa, and other round dances, should be the same as that for the waltz, and for the steps, they can only be acquired from a dancing teacher, and are impossible to describe properly." where the discussion on dancing is concluded, and Part 2 to start with "One of the most delightful accomplishments which a lady can possess, and one which is unfortunately but little cultivated, is the art of reading aloud well;" as it's a change of subject. That would make Part 1 roughly 7800 words and part 2 roughly 6700 words. It is a bit unequal but I think it's a good spot, because of the change of subject discussed. Up to you of course! Or you can leave it up to the Reader :D
